I've been in the Aerospace Industry for a couple of years now and am starting to get itchy feet! Don't get me wrong - I do love the industry, however I'm one of those people who likes change every now and again.

Since, in terms of industry, there isn't much else I would rather do outside of what I'm currently doing I was thinking of becoming self employed.

So, I would like to know what other people's thoughts are - have you set up on your own? What kind of thing did you get into and how easy was it for you? Did you change paths and regret it? Did you start out solo, or with a friend/colleague?

Look forward to your responses! Laughing

I think if you have a bright idea that you are passionate about then you should definetly go for it. However, there are always risks involved, so my advise is to perhaps keep doing what you are doing and work on any other project on the side.

If the time comes that you can give up your job for self-employment then do it!
